DFI Expands European Operations to Nordic Countries
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, August 2003- Diamon-Fusion
International, Inc. (DFI), global developer and exclusive
supplier of the Diamon-Fusion® patented hydrophobic
technology, has reached an agreement with GlasConsult
to expand DFI's European operations to the Nordic Countries
(Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland),
arguably the world's most prosperous regional economy with
the highest quality of life.
GlasConsult,
a Copenhagen-based company, has been consulting to the glass
industry in Denmark and the Scandinavian Countries (Sweden,
Norway, and Finland) for over 30 years under various
capacities.
Erik Johansen, Managing Director of GlasConsult, stated:
"DFI's technology has a natural place in this geographical
area; I am confident the added value of Diamon-Fusion will
generate many business opportunities in various market segments."
DFI's enhanced hydrophobic technology provides
a unique molecular change in the treated surface, creating
a covalent bond, the strongest possible bond, in chemical
terms, that a hydrophobic coating can furnish (in a covalent
bond, the electrons are shared by the glass and the coating
itself, thus the coating becomes part of the glass). Diamon-Fusion®'s
chemical vapor deposition process provides expanded
durability and additional properties such as scratch and impact
resistance, added brilliance and lubricity, additional electrical
insulation and capability of receiving Invisible Art Glass™,
among other significant characteristics.
