DFI reaches a 5-year License Agreement with SAMO of Italy

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, May 2002- Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI), award winner of the "Innovative Product of the Year", reached a licensing agreement with Italian shower door manufacturer SAMO SpA ("La Star Dei Box Doccia"), one of Europe's leader in the fabrication of shower enclosures.

SAMO, with its main manufacturing plant in Northern Italy (Verona region), has a vast chain of distribution throughout Italy and Europe, with sales offices in Spain, France and Portugal.

Mr. Christian Salvi, Product Marketing Manager of SAMO, very pleased with the licensing of DFI's technology, stated: "The added-value of the Diamon-Fusion coating will clearly set us apart as a shower enclosure manufacturer in addition to offering a superior product with its low maintenance- easy-to-clean features".

Diamon-Fusion® is a proprietary process (patented technology) of growing an optically clear film from the inside of the glass (or any other silica-based surface) out, filling the microscopic ridges of the substrate and then 'capping' it, creating a long lasting hydrophobic (water repellent) film. This film is permanently attached to the substrate, prevents damage and dramatically reduces the time required to maintain treated surfaces in residential, commercial, automotive or any other industrial applications.
